Chapter 25

1841 Words
Will POV (Luce Dad) ~3 hours earlier~ "It's only a matter of time", Alpha Mike spoke, his eyes watching my face intently. "Either which way, Luce is in danger." I growled, pushing the chair backwards as I stood up. "You think I don't know that?" I asked, gritting my teeth together in anger. "You think I don't know that my daughter every move is being watched by those son of bitches?" Mike looked at me with narrowed eyes, his hands clasped together as he sat behind his large desk. Shaking my head, I turned my back on him and walked over to the window. I sighed as I glanced out into the dark night, briefly closing my eyes. Ever since that day when we went to the gathering at the Dark Moon Pack, things had diminished dramatically. Before we went, Luce was safe. She was unheard of and didn't draw any unwanted attention. That's all I wanted as her dad. I had wanted Luce to come along with us to the Dark Moon Pack, thinking it would be a good expression, considering she never been to another Pack. Now, I sadly regret my decision. I reopened my eyes, eyeing the endless forest cautiously. It was little bit after nine-thirty at night. It relaxed me to know that Luce was safely asleep at home. I would be lying if last night didn't scare the crap out of me. Not able to get in time to help her, it angered me. Since my wife, Miranda had died, I had oath myself to protect the most important thing to me in this world and that is my daughter. I felt like I had let down my Miranda and that she will be disappointed in me. "No, she wouldn't", my wolf growled, grief buried deep in his tone. "She will be proud of us. We did all we could". I swallowed thickly, I know my wolf is right, but still I felt guilty for not coming to her rescue in time. "She will be safer with his Pack", I spoke quietly after a few minutes of silence, my eyes trained on the dark forest. My back still turn to Alpha Mike, but I heard him move until I felt him stand a few feet behind me. "His Pack is bigger-", I put my hands over my head. "-and stronger", I added truthfully. "The Dark Moon Pack will protect her, he will protect her." Mike was silent behind me. I turn around to look at my Alpha. "Your're right", he said, his eyes roaming my face. "But what changed your mind? A few hours ago you were ready to rip-", he paused, a look of hatred covered his features as he said the next word."-Tristan head off for wanting to take Luce." I folded my arms and looked away from Mike, my eyes trained of the walls. "I changed my mind because I realized how much safer she would be there. It would be foolish and unfair of me to keep her from her Mate," my eyes darkened. "Like I could ever stop Tristan from taking Luce. One way or another, he will going to take her. I said as I scowled at the memory of Alpha Tristan in my living room a few hours earlier. I averted my gaze to Mike, who sighed and walked back over to his chair. "As any Mate would be", he stated, giving me a pointed look. He leaned back in his chair. "Crocottas want Luce, because she is Tristan Mate. She is in danger and they want to use Luce to their advantage", Mike stated, looking at me. I growled loudly. The thought of anything happening to my daughter had my fists and eyes darkening. I will not let anyone harm her. But I can't save her, and I know that. Tristan dad have took my Mate, from me and now he is taking my daughter from me. Both Luce and Tristan are nothing alike. I was deep in my thoughts that I forget Mike was trying to get my attention. "Will", he growled, standing up. "Alpha Tristan is coming". I felt the hair on my arms rise at this news. I hated being in the same room with Tristan. It only took few minutes until Alpha Tristan scent fluttered through the air. A few seconds later, he came into the room. He stood tall and a dangerous aura surrounded him as he glanced at me with his dark eyes. I hate to admit it, but the amount of power and authority he radiated, simply astonished me. He was most definitely a very strong Alpha. "Alpha Tristan", Mike greeted, moving around the table until he stood next to me. Tristan nodded his head in acknowledgement. "You wanted to talk to me", he spoke, his deep rugged tone rang throughout the room. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Mike nod. "Yes, I was wondering what your plan is from now on. I mean, are you and your Pack members staying-." "No", Tristan cut him off. "My pack are going back home tomorrow", he explained, folding his arms over his chest. "I will remain here until Luce is well enough to come back to my pack". My nostrils flared in anger. "She should be healed in the next few days", he added. "You better not hurt her", I said suddenly. Silence cover the room as I clenched my teeth, at the man whose my daughter is suppose to spent the rest of her life with. Why of all the people, did it have to be him? I watched as Tristan locked his eyes on mine. The once brown eyes were now black. His lip pulled back in a snarl as he clenched his fists. "I would never hurt her", he growl slowly. "If I remember correctly, you were hurting her by trying to keep her from me", he snarled. "Her Mate." I glared at him, how can he say that? She is my daughter, I love her. "I had my reasons", I responded, watching as Tristan nostrils flared in anger. "And what reasons would they be?" he sneered. "You know nothing about myself or my Pack." His breathing was heavy now, clearly indicating with fury. I growled quietly, narrowing my eyes into slits. "So the rumors aren't true?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. "All the countless murders and sick-" Tristan growled loudly. He was mad. "Like I said", he stated slowly, the words coming out with a pause between them due to his clenched teeth. "You know nothing about me." I bit my tongue and looked away, unable to look at the man infront of me. I took a deep breath, trying to get rid of my anger, I heard Tristan growl lowly making me glance at him out of the corner of my eye. his head was hung, obvious tension in his muscles as he attempted to calm himself down. I watched steely faced, as Tristan turn around and stiffly made his way out the door. Mike turned to me. I ignored his furious face and walked back over the window. I gazed up at the sky in desperation, for help. Please keep our daughter safe, as I remember about Miranda. Arias POV 'I still can't believe it", I said softly, running my hand down Noah arm as I lay my head against his chest. "Yeah", he breathed, looking down at me. I moved my head until I was staring up into his blue eyes, I have now become to love. So beautiful, I thought. And all mine. We were laying in my bed, wrapped in each other arms. It was right time and was a few hours after I had left my Luce house. I felt bad for my best friend. She has been through so much. I really do hope that Alpha Tristan treats her she deserves to be treated. Even God knows she deserves it. "What's wrong?" I asked Noah, glancing at my mate sudden hard features. His expression changed as he looked down at me. "I was talking to Tristan", he spoke, his deep tone making me shiver. "He just left Alpha Mike house after the discussion with Alpha Mike and Luce dad." I frowned, and rested my hand under my chin. "That couldn't have gone well", I commented, the memory of Alpha Tristan holding Will up against the wall. Noah shook his head, clenching his jaw. "Tristan doesn't like many people beside his pack", he admitted. "He hasn't taken a particular liking to Alpha Mike and Luce dad." I licked my lips, nodding my head before resting it back on my mate warm chest. "What's with Alpha Tristan anyway?" I questioned, closing my eyes. "And why is he so weird with Luce? I mean, he acts all possessive of her and acts like he can't believe she's.." I trailed off, finding the correct words. "I don't know. He looks at her as if he can't believe she exist. Yet, he hasn't touched her or anything." Noah tensed underneath me. "There is a lot you or anyone in fact, don't know about Tristan", he explained quietly. I couldn't help but notice a edge was to his voice now. "He had terrible up bringing. His dad was cruel and unstable and his mom was dead. Tristan was shown no love. He received no love, so he doesn't know love", Noah murmured, pulling me closer. "The emotion is completely foreign to him." I felt tears prick at my eyes. "That's horrible", I whispered. I could never imagine my childhood without my parents, where they didn't love me. Noah sighed, and began to gently rub my waist. "He never thought he would have a Mate", he chuckled softly. "So you can imagine the shock Tristan felt when he saw Luce for the first time. He honestly didn't know what to do." I smiled slightly, imagining the look of shock and awe Alpha Tristan would have been in. It been interesting to see, Alpha Tristan express his emotion. "What do you mean, he didn't think he had a Mate?" I frowned. "Every wolf has a mate." Noah remained silent for a few minutes. The room was silent, expect for his breathing. I knew he wasn't going to reply. "let's just get some rest. We have a big day tomorrow." He said and I only simply nodded. I knew Noah knew why Tristan didn't think he had a Mate, but I wasn't going to push it. I cuddled up to my mate warm hard body, sighing in content as he wrapped an arm around my waist, burring his nose in my hair. "Goodnight my beautiful Mate." My heart stopped at Noah words. I couldn't help the big goofy grin that shaped my lips. "Goodnight, my Beta." ---------  For today chapter, I had decided to show you guys, Luce dad point of view and Aria point of view.
