The Boundary Line

Chapter 6

I gulped my thoughts and looked around. I wasn’t surprised by the looks that everyone around me was giving me. I scanned around me and I saw many emotions from people who were around me. But most of the comments and emotions were coming from The Dark Moon pack, about what they have just witnessed right now.

I looked at Alpha Mike who was looking at both me and Tristan. Mike was surprised like he just can’t believe what is happening right now. Hell my own self didn’t believe what was happening and I thought to myself am I going crazy or something.

My wolf was telling me to hug Tristan and I really wanted to be in his arms. I wanted to kiss him right there. I could feel that my wolf wanted to get out so badly and mark Tristan who was ours.

Slowly Tristan's eyes left my, but then he checked me from head to toe. I started to get goosebumps as his eyes darkened as they went down my body. I thought that I was going to pass out there.

I detect a low growl that came from Tristan's chest. 

“Mate” Tristan whispered softly and quietly, I barely heard him. For a second my breath stopped when I heard that one word that came out of his mouth. My heart started to race faster as he took steps towards me. I thought to myself is he really admitting me as his mate? But I was aware of the quiet crowd surrounding us, watching us what was going to happen next. What was I going to do?

Not removing his eyes from me, Tristan took a step towards me. Now he was standing a meter away from me. If I stretch my arms then I could easily touch him and I wanted to touch him.

I felt small and weak compared to Tristan who was larger and stronger than me. I now can see why everyone was afraid of Alpha Tristan and I now know the reason behind it. My eyes widened as Tristan lowered his head to look at my neck. My heart was pounding so hard, I thought even Tristan and other people surrounding us could hear it.

I looked at Tristan, who was staring at the place where I could see me marked. Tristan was so close by now, all I wanted to do was pull him and run my hands over his thick black hair. Though my wolf wanted to do more than just that. My wolf was demanding me to close the little space that we two had between each other. I put both of my hands behind my back to do something stupid in front of other people.

I was frozen at the spot as I watched him lower his head even more towards my neck. Tristan then closed his eyes and he took a deep breath in my scent. Desire of wanting Tristan came inside me as Tristan didn’t hold back the loud that came from his chest. Then without warning Tristan was ripped away from me, making me jump in surprise. I blind in shock. Who would dare to interrupt an Alpha wolf from their mate?

I looked around to see the interrupt and to my surprise it was my dad. I froze as I saw my dad dragging Tristan away from me. I thought to myself what the f**k is happening right now. Why is my dad doing this with my mate? Tristan stumbled a bit, but quickly he recovered. He turned and looked at my dad for coming in between me and him. I gulped in fear as my dad growled at Tristan.

“Don’t touch my daughter,” my dad said angrily.

Tristan was in my dad's face instantly and he grabbed the collar of my dad shirt. Tristan growled so loudly and furious, that I even his mate stepped away because of fear. All the boldness of my dad was gone and it was replaced with fear.

I quickly looked at Noah and Alpha Mike for help, but they just looked shocked.

“Do not order me,” Tristan growled. His face was so close to my dad's face. I feared for my dad safely and his life. My dad tried talking with Tristan but his face was so close that nothing didn’t came out of my dad's mouth. 

I know that I have to do something if I have to save my dad. Wasting no time I went up to Tristan and I placed my hand at his muscular shoulder. As soon as I touch Tristan a little spark runs through my whole body. My mind was filled with fear because I knew one wrong move could kill my dad and I. But then I realized that Tristan has stopped shaking and I said to myself thank god. After he stopped shaking, I removed my hand from his shoulder.

But one of his hands was still touching my dad's collar. I slowly put my hand again on Tristan's shoulder and I slowly trailed my hand up and down through Tristan's shoulder. I watched as Tristan felt my touch and he turned his heads towards me to look at me. His eyes had turned black. I called his name “Tristan”. He looked tense and shivered. It felt so good to call his name from my mouth.

I breathed in relief as he dropped his hands from my dad. He closed his eyes and breath in my scent. He slowly opened his eyes and now his eyes were brown. I heard my dad coughing on the ground as my dad gasped for air. I looked away from Tristan and went up to my dad who was still sitting on the floor. 

“Dad are you OK,?” I ask him with a worried face. Dad coughed and he slowly raised to his feet. I noticed that my dad wasn’t as tall as Tristan, but he was at least older then Tristan.

Finally, Alpha Mike chose this moment to speak “Alpha Tristan, the purpose of this meeting was to see if any of the member in my pack has murder one of your pack member. But it looks like no one from my pack has murder one of your pack member, so I think we shall go now.”

I was shocked and I looked confused. Didn’t Alpha Mike notice that Tristan is my mate. I was surprised. I can’t leave him like this. He is my other half.

Everyone was following Mike as he stepped to go, but I was still there looking confused, like what just happened. I was mad at Mike. I know that Mike is Alpha from our pack but he can’t ignore the fact that Tristan is my soulmate, the person whom I have to spend the rest of my life with. At that time I was really mad at Mike and even my wolf was mad at him. We both wanted to teach him a good lesson, for trying to make me stay away from my mate.

Tristan looked at Mike and grabbed his arm “you are not going nowhere.” Even in a dangerous time Tristan's voice was making me crazy. His voice was so deep that I could just fall for his voice. Alpha Mike turned with anger “we don’t have any business here anymore, so i think it’s best if we leave.”

With that Mike pushed away his hands from Tristan's hands and he turned to me “Come Luce, it’s time for us to go now,” Mike demanded, it was like an order from him. I looked back at Tristan who was already looking at me.

“Go home Luce,” I was happy as he called my name, it sounded so perfect and beautiful. Tristan glanced at Mike, “but don’t think this is the last time I am seeing you. Next week on the full moon, I will be coming to fully investigate your pack myself” he then shifted his gaze at me “ and taking what is mine”. I was shocked by his words. He is coming to get me. Is he accepting me? I looked over to Tristan. 

Alpha Mike began to talk but Tristan cut him off half way. “ You have no saying in this matter. Next week on Thursday, full moon, I will come to your pack and it’s final”. Tristan looked back to me “and Luce I look forward seeing you”.
