"Aria!" I laughed and turned around to see my best friend smiling at me. I instantly pulled her closer and buried my nose in her hair. I sighed and tightened my grip on her. I heard Aria chuckle and squeeze me back, her breath fanning against my forehead.
"Luce! I missed you so much", she exclaimed excitedly and pulled back. I grinned at her, immediately noticing her blood shot eyes. How the hell is she so happy when she clearly doesn't look like it?
My smile dropped slightly at her appearance. What on earth has happened? "Aria..." I trailed off and my friend immediately tensed. She looked around as if searching for someone, before turning back to me.
