"Luce."
I almost choked. I was completely shocked, so confused as my mothers voice came from the creature mouth. The faint memory of my mothers voice consumed me, the soft tone and angelic voice tearing at me.
How on earth could this be? What the Hell is this creature? As if realizing what was happening, I stood tall and growled lowly, not liking the way the unknown specie slowly advanced on me. It had long pale fingers, it's sharp claw like nails making me uneasy.
"Luce darling." I shook my head, trying desperately not to fall for the horrific beings trick. My mother voice sounded gentle, but staring at the source it came from, looked anything but. I dug my claws into the soft earth beneath me, trying to get my head clear. I never knew hearing my late mother voice would affect me so much.
As if sensing mixed emotions, the unfamiliar creature cackled, well more like it threw it's head back and laughed. My chest rumbled, the ghastly, sickly noise of its chortle sent cold chills down my body.
"Luce dear, it's such a pleasure to finally meet you." Instead of my mother voice, it spoke in low voice, the tone it's self had give me goosebumps. I could only assume that was usual voice. Slowly the words dawned on me. It occurred to me that the thing in front of me must have some sort of idea of who I was and what my name is.
Me being in my wolf form, I couldn't speak. So instead of replying I snarled lowly, danger and evil radiated of it in heavy thick waves. The creature didn't exactly scream friendly.
It chuckled again, titling it's head to the side as if observing me. "Oh come on, don't be like that. I'm completely harmless!" If his menacing grin and wink weren't any indication of his words being a complete lie, I don't know what was.
His red eyes were squinted in a glare and his long spindly teeth were bared, his face contorted in anger. "Have I ever mentioned that I hate Werewolves?" I took a step back, menacing growls elicited from deep within my chest. It looked as if this creature was done playing around.
"Especially your f*****g Mate." I didn't have time to react as he rapidly drew his fist backward and thrust it into my face, sending me staggering back from the blow. My jaw burned, heat flowing through my face as I whimpered. Shaking my head, I quickly got to my feet and spun around, ready to fight this monster.
I searched the area hastily, my heart picking up to fast painful thuds as I couldn't find or smell the mystery specie anywhere. I growled loudly, my wolf on high alert.
I felt a stir behind me and was quick enough to move, the creature was a blur as it passed me. I didn't think as I launched myself at it, my teeth bared, effectively knocking him to the ground with me on top.
Not stopping I tore into the flesh of the beasts shoulder, virtually gagging when it's disgusting blood hit my tongue. The high bellow of it's cry, resounded in my ear, it felt as if my ear drum had been popped by the loud echo of its wail.
I pulled my head back, finding the creature even more mortifying up close. Never have I ever heard of or seen a creature like this before.
I was hurt, while landing hard against the base of the tree. I whined as the sound of the bones snapping filled my eyes.
I lay on the ground taking deep jagged breaths as the burning sensation of pain enveloped through my body. I could't find myself being able to move, like I had been effectively paralyzed by the throw.
I watched with blurred eyes as the creature advanced on me, it's sickening grin in place. "Well isn't this fun?" he mocked. Even though my body was screaming in pain, I managed a growl, completely furious I could do nothing.
I cried out loud in pain. I was lying hopeless on the forests dirt ground. I tried moving my body so I was in setting position by stopped when a sharp pain tortured my spine.
My eyes never left the creature as it came in front of me, it's red eyes glowing. He licked his thin lips and brought a skeletal hand to my head, stroking my fur.
Twisting my head, I snapped at the hand, snarling as the sense of him touching me left me feeling revolted. The creature face hardened and he bared his abnormally long gangling teeth, a snarl coming form his mouth.
"Vile creature you are." He spat on me, the warm slim of his saliva dripping down from my eyes to my muzzle. Then without warning, he attack at me, sinking his teeth into the back of my neck, tearing his claw into my shoulders.
I howled, the painful torture of his teeth in my flesh sent me to the edge of fainting. Digging his teeth in further, my howls grew louder. I couldn't do anything but writhe in agony, under the monster hold.
Finally, the creature withdrew his teeth. I slumped to the ground, my body growing weak. There was nothing I could do as I transformed back into my human form.
The pain on my body was nothing like I ever felt before. I didn't had the energy to try to move and to cover myself. I could feel blood coming from my open skin.
I watched as the creature, took of his top and give it to me. I put the top somehow. He lifted his head to the sky and sniffed, his lips pulling back. He turned to me, giving me a once over.
"Such a pretty little she-wolf." He stared at me, bare chested. "Your Mates a lucky one!" I was left confused as he mention my Mate for the second time. Before i could as him how he knew Tristan, he continued speaking.
"As disheartening as it is, I must leave now." He gave me a grinned. "Until next time!" I felt a rush of wind and suddenly I was left alone in the pitch dark. I closed my eyes, and ignoring the pain, I tried contacting my father.
"Dad" I croaked. My voice sounded weak, my felt like shutting down. The creature bite most be making me feel this way.
"Luce!" My dad shouted resounded in my head, making me bring a hand to my head, squeezing it. "Luce, told on we are coming. Are you okay?" No, I don't think I was okay. My mind thought about Tristan. Would he have felt my pain? He must be coming with my father.
The thought of my Mate coming to my rescue, had me fighting to stay awake a bit more. In distance, I could hear sounds of thumping paws, coming my way/ I sighed in relief and waited for them.
After a few minutes, my body began to tingle as a black wolf appeared in my line vision, followed by more wolves behind it. Judging from the way my body warmed, I knew it was Tristan.
To say Tristan was the biggest wolf I have to ever seen was an understatement. He was big, as he stopped a few meters away and examined me. His breathing was rough, his eyes pure black. His eyes roamed my body and I watched as he bared his teeth, the roar coming from him was almost deafening.
I could only close my eyes and thank the God that my savior was here. I am safe now.
I drifted off, the sound of bones popping and arms surrounding me, which I knew unmistakably belonged to my Mate, were the last thing I remembered before I gladly welcomed darkness.
