JoJo already looks fine to me, so I believe I should with my mother across the boundary right now.
There's no doubt that she must be dealing with a lot of backlash, and it's not fair that I leave her to handle those alone, especially seeing as I'm the cause.
I roll over on the bed and kiss JoJo on the cheek, waking her up. "Hi," I whisper.
She groans sleepy-eyed, "Did you sleep at all?" she asks me.
"I did," I giggle. "And I should be on my way back to the realm soon."
She blinks her eyes rapidly to clear the sleep off and sits up gingerly on the bed. "You're going to abandon me here?"
