Bigail dozes off on her stool, nodding forward and backwards so erratically I believe she might fall.
I abandon the dining where I had been patiently waiting and walk over to support her, carrying her in my arms to the king-sized bed with the four posts and a canopy.
She's so sleepy the moment her body touches the bed, she starts to snore.
I sigh in relief, stand erect and dust my palms.
First hurdle is scaled.
Now... onto the next.
