"I don't understand," I say to Dex.
"Your girlfriend," he repeats himself. "I've been sleeping with her."
I lean over for clarity on the word 'sleeping'. It's possible it now has another definition. Or perhaps I must be hearing him completely wrong. "Sleeping," I say to Dex. "As in, having s*x?"
"Yes," he replies gently, looking me straight in the eyes. "Having s*x, my prince. Right behind this office. She says you'll be fine with it since, according to your girlfriend, your union is in shambles at the moment and you're with someone else."
That's funny. Even if Bigail might suspect I've been seeing JoJo, there's absolutely no way she can tell for sure. No evidence. Is she now going around telling people I'm with someone else? Really? "Who does Bigail say I'm with?"
