Fifty-Two-2

“Sam wouldn’t do anything,” I say quietly. Greg shakes his head, his voice calm but serious. “Maybe not. But just because he asked for an open relationship doesn’t mean he’d be okay with you going through with it. In his mind, he might think you’re staying home and keeping yourself to yourself.” I nod slowly, the weight of his words settling in my chest. “It’s fine. I won’t be seeing him alone. I’m moving my things out, and when he gets back, I’ll meet him somewhere public to end it.” “Do it here,” Greg says softly. “Please. That way, you’re not alone.” I nod, swallowing hard. “Okay.” Before either of us can say anything else, my phone vibrates. I glance down and see Knox’s message. He’s waiting outside. Greg notices the way my shoulders tighten and rests his hand lightly on my arm.
