Ghost POV I wake up on cold concrete, and my head feels like it’s been split open with a hammer. Every muscle in my body aches, and my jaw throbs with a slow, deep pulse that tells me exactly what happened. That crazy b***h knocked me out. I groan and roll onto my side, my hand dragging over the rough pavement as I push myself up enough to look around. The body’s gone, of course it is.
