Ghost POV The moment the bike cuts out beneath me, I hear the music pulsing through the clubhouse walls. Bass shaking the air, people already inside. I’m late, by choice. The others set off ahead of me, but I needed the silence. I needed the ride. Something about wind and asphalt keeps my demons quiet. Knox is outside, leaning against the wall like his spine’s too heavy to hold upright.
