A lower rank demon can move upwards to a higher rank buy increasing his strength. But the advantage that a high rank from birth is not something which can be matched by increases in strength. 

For example, a high rank has seven hearts if he is killed once he won't die or he is seriously wounded he still won't die but the same can't be said for a low-rank demon. Moreover, a lower rank demon is suppressed by a high-rank demon.

A high-rank demon has different forms he can have two forms or more and a true form. A low rank has also more than one forms but their chances are less than fifteen (15%) per cent to develop more forms this is also the reasons that lower demons who can match the higher rank demons are less than ten in a ratio of a hundred thousand.
