To lure the bear back into human form was easy but risky.
A man as arrogant and filthy as him must enjoy taunting me upon my death or even torturing me with my failure. As long as I was severely injured enough to go back to human form, he would certainly turn back to human form too to end my life with some kind of twisted disgusting way. If only I could take the chance when he got near to stab the blade into his heart, it would be my win here.
Cora agreed with me without hesitation. We didn’t know how long it would take Louis’s army to get here. That’s the best chance we currently have.
In the next attack, Cora slowed her motion to be hit by the bear on purpose but tried her best to avoid getting fatal injuries.
