Lily’s POV
The two young maids took me to a room at the end of the hallway on the ground floor. It’s kind of like a body search room with nothing in it but four cold grey walls. One of the maids asked me to take off all my clothes. Another one passed me a simple grey gown with no pockets nor any other designs, ordering me to wear it instead.
I took the chance to pull the blade out of my boot while changing my clothes. There’s no place for me to hide it with my new dress—they didn't even allow me to wear my underwear back. Thus, I had no choice but to hold it in my hand. Thank God it was invisible so none one would even notice.
