Once we reached the dining room, Niklaus’s parents were already there, and then my dad and Autumn soon arrived.
“Oh Fallon,” my father said as he stood from his seat and walked over to hug me, and Autumn followed behind.
“You look beautiful, Fallon,” Autumn said as we hugged.
“I’ll take her, I’ve missed my grandchild,” my father said as he took Cosette into his arms as she slowly woke up.
“Oh, dad this is Niklaus’s parents,” I said as I was introducing them.
“Joseph Crescent, nice to finally meet you in person,” my father extended his free hand to Niklaus’s dad.
“Nicholas Holt, nice to finally meet the man behind all of the stories. And this is my wife, Charlene,” Niklaus’s father shook my father’s hand, and then shook his mother’s hand.
