“Oh Cole, why did you tell me!?” I yelled at him.  “Well…” he was hesitant, “we were waiting for the right time to say anything, but it never became the right time.” That seems about right. I was so caught up in my own life I never took a moment to think about anyone else. Have I always been this selfish?  “Well, I am certainly happy for you both. I’ve gotta go, but my father may or not be back for a while, but I’ll be there sometime later this week,” I said before I hung up. I laid back on the bed, listening to the small splashes that were coming from the bathroom. Cosette always did make a mess with the bathwater. I laughed.
