The grocery bags were dropped to the ground. Yao Xue pulled Yong Jie to his side when the car approaches but then it suddenly turned to the other side road after hitting the puddle beside them and it splashed, bathing their lower half. Yao Xue was hit by the splash the most and the water was cold making the both of them trembled when their wet clothes stick on their skin.
"Ahh! Dammit!" Yong Jie exclaimed. "Are you drunk driving!?"
Yao Xue was frozen for a while with his heart beat fast and his breath heavy. For a second, he thought he was going to lose Yong Jie again in front of his eyes.
