15. Marble Luna

Felicity Pov

I was grounded, I couldn’t move. My plan did work, Francis found his mate and his wolf, Levi by the looks of it, finally came out. But this was not the way I wanted things to work out. I wanted him to be happy, I wanted at least one of us to be with the person of our dreams. Everything I said to Naomi was true, losing your mate was hard, I knew what Francis was going through and he didn’t need the audience.

“Francis listen I’m so sorry..”

“Just don’t” he stopped me “I’ll be in the car” he walked off leaving us all behind. I gestured for the Daughters to leave us and follow him. I was left with Alex and Kilian in the middle of the driveway.

“Alex I’m sorry if I hurt your sister it was never my intention. The Daughters will provide the training. They will be here in three days” I rubbed my head and thought about everything that just happened.

“Don’t be sorry. We all believed her mate was dead so I wasn’t expecting a grand revelation of feelings today. Thank you for your help, I will get the paperwork ready” he bowed his head in respect and headed back to the Pack House.

I was left alone with Kilian, again. I wanted to follow Alex when I felt a tight grip on my wrist pulling me back. I knew he wanted to talk to me, just like he did in Alex’s office but I had enough bad information for today. I yanked my wrist back and steered at him. I saw desperation in his eyes.

“What?” I asked harshly.

“Did you mean what you said?” he gestured to the car that drove off and Naomi.

“Yeah, losing your mate hurts like f**k. But we have to move on and Francis will as well. At least now his wolf is out” I came up close to him and confronted him.

“I know how you feel” he said softly. “You smell like him” I didn’t realise I was still wearing Alex’s coat. Kilian grabbed the bottom of it and pulled me towards him. He knew I was completely naked underneath it. One swift movement and I would be pressing my naked breasts against his hard torso. “You should only smell like me. Take it off” he ordered.

 I didn’t know who he thought he was, he had a fiancé at home and he was the one who got rid of me, and now he was ordering me around. As much as I need to feel wanted again, I wanted to be possessed, this was not it. He lowered his head and moved it into the crook of my neck. Kilian took a long swift and I felt all the hairs on it stand up.

“Maybe I should go into his office and return the coat. Better yet I should ask for more clothes” I teased him. Two could play that game. I stepped back and looked directly at his brown eyes which were slowly turning black.

“You’re mine” I heard Bane’s voice mixed with Kilian’s. That just set Estrid off, she was standing on the edge anyway, waiting to bite back.

“No, don’t you dare! You have no right! Stop bringing this up whenever we are around people. We have to separate our professional and personal lives. You have everything you need, satisfy your needs that way” I turned around and started to walk off. I sounded like a broken record repeating my feelings back to him.

“That’s not what I meant!” he called back and I heard steady footsteps behind me. “Did you mean it?” he asked again. Who sounds like a broken record now? “When you said you missed me? Did you mean it?” I stopped in my tracks.

Those were thoughts, I wasn’t talking to him, I didn’t even know he was at Dark Shade. How powerful was I getting, my thought were now mind links ? I meant it, I really did miss him. I missed the good and kind Kilian. My Kilian.

“I missed you every day . Every time I look at Cassius I see your eyes. Whenever I close my eyes I imagine you next to me. Felicity I miss you more than anything and no matter what happened between us, you will always be the one for me” he stepped closer and was now standing just a few centimetres away from me.

“Go back to your fiancé”  I turned around and walked back to the cars.

Kilian Pov:

I didn’t tell anyone where I went that day, Montgomery was only a couple of hours drive from New Orleans so not many people noticed I was gone. I was now sitting in my office looking at the expansion of Stonecross Pack.

I couldn’t concentrate, all I kept thinking about was Felicity shifting and her naked body walking down the driveway. Her smooth curves shinning in the sunlight. Her sweet smell of chocolate and her beautiful blue eyes. The way she teased me only made me harder. I rubbed my hand over my p***s trying to re-live any memory I had left of our s*x life. The table in front of me where I pounded into her until she screamed for more. The office wall which made her wrap her legs around my face and lets not forget the desk which only made her beg for me to fill her up. This whole room begged to have s*x in it. The endless possibilities and positions! How could I long for someone who rejected me. How could I want to taste her again when she hated me as much as I despised her?

My thought got disturbed by the knock on the door and Lucas coming into the room. He hasn’t spoken to me properly since the Mate Ceremony. I left him in charge of Marble a few times in the past since he needed to learn the ropes and today was no different.

“Since you’re back I will be heading to Stonecross, see you whenever” he turned around coldly and started to walk out again.

“Lucas wait, I need to tell you something” I said.

I saw his fists harden before turning around to face me. Unexpectedly there was tension in the room and well as Lucas’ angry face.

“Some Daughters will visit Stonecross soon; they will train some of your warriors and then will have a right to take in more rogues… only if you want to though?” I asked. I seriously had no idea what he wanted, as soon as I mentioned the Daughters he let go of his fists but the angry face remained.

“Yeah, I’ll welcome them, thank you” he bowed his head and started to walk out again.

“What is wrong with you?!” I shouted behind him.

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“You are walking around like a ticking time bomb. Everyone is scared to approach you. If this is the reputation you want as an Alpha it’s not going to work. This is not how Alpha’s gain people’s trust, fear never works” I stood up from my chair and walked up to him.

“Ohh because you would know about what being a true Alpha means” he growled at me.

“Excuse me?”

“You are a liar Kilian. You might have everyone around you fooled but not me. You rejected your Luna and lied to everyone about it” he snapped back.

“FELICITY REJECTED ME!” I screamed before Lucas threw my body against the wall.

“STOP LYING!” he was breathing heavily keeping his wolf at bay. “She told me the truth. You took Cassius from her and you rejected her. f**k’s sake Kilian after everything she went through! You take her child?! And the tell everyone how you were in pain?” he grabbed my throat and tried to strangle me, forgetting that I was the powerful sibling I pushed him aside and changed position so I had my hands on his neck now.

“She is the LIAR!” I didn’t have to explain myself to him, I let my hands go and he dropped to his knees.  I saw him take out a knife and I stepped back, I was not expecting my brother to stab me, but instead he cut his palm.

“Felicity made a Blood Oath with me,” he said as blood poured from his palm. “She swore she never rejected you, you rejected her. These are her words; I Lucas Castor Alpha of Stonecross Pack swear this” he got up and raised his hand in my face.

I grabbed the same knife and cut my own palm which surprised Lucas. He thought I was lying at this oath would kill me. “I Kilian Castor Alpha of Marble Pack swear that I did not reject my mate” I confessed.

We both stood still waiting for the other to die any moment, but nothing happened. I didn’t want to lose my brother as I knew I wouldn’t die, I wasn’t lying. However, when he was still standing there I realised he was telling the truth.

“How?” I asked lowering my hand. “I never rejected her, I loved her”.

“That would explain the splitting” Lucas murmured softly.

“What? Splitting?”

“Kilian you know what this means. You are officially mates, you never rejected each other”.

“But I heard her, I heard her words and I felt the pain “I interrupted him.

“Those were not her words; she never spoke them. Kilian she heard Violet announce her declaration and your engagement. She split her soul, you broke her and Estrid’s heart. She is still the official Luna of Marble Pack, she is still your mate”.
