Walking up to his office I had to pass the wolves in the Estate, old faces that were glad to have me back. Face of people that were grateful for saving their lives, faces of people that I swore their lives to me. When we got to his floor I noticed one of the bedrooms had plastic foil over it. It seemed odd but Kilian carried on walking not taking notice.
“Hey, what’s this?” I asked stopping by the door, if I was in my wolf form Estrid would be scratching at the door.
Kilian saw my interest but decided to dismiss it. “You’ll see later” he commented.
We walked into his office and I shut the door behind me. I wanted to be gone, I wanted to get in the car, get Cassidy and go home.
“No you don’t stop lying to yourself” Estrid commented.
