BLISSFUL MARRIAGE

Chapter 2 "Marriage Preparation"

At exactly 6am, Adams woke up, he has always been this punctual, no matter when he sleeps, he always wakes up at 6am. 

       He laid on the bed for a while before standing up and going into the bathroom to get ready for work as usual he has totally forgotten about his wedding today. 

He came out about 45minutes later dried his hair and went into his closet, he came out after some while full clad in a blue tailored suit, he looked at himself in the mirror and was fully satisfied with how he looked, he elegantly left turned around and made his way to the living room, he was completely stunned with what he saw in the living room,everywhere was bustling, all the maids were already fully dressed in their best outfit, the body guards were completely clad in black suit as they stood in neat formations, his best men were already seated  in the living room fully dressed and playing games while chatting happily, while his relatives and family were sitting at the other end of the living room Chatting warmly.

 Adams was so surprised, he wanted to ask what the occasion was, before one of his relative called and waved at him to come over, even though he was very surprised and confused he didn't show it on his face and walked over to were his family members where sitting.

He greeted everyone " good morning "

His grandmother looked at his grandson all dressed up and beamed happily.. While say "Ahh... My baby is so handsome this morning, you must be very happy that you are finally getting Married"

Adams "..." he was stunned for a good while before it finally clicked on him that he was getting married today,  he thought 

'grandma what do you mean by very happy?, I have totally forgotten that today is my wedding okay!' 

Even though he thought that way, he still didn't say anything at all as he elegantly stood there. 

His mum nodded at him in satisfaction "Tsk.. Tsk.. Tsk... Our baby is so lucky he will be getting married to the most beautiful woman today"

Adams was speechless "..."  he thought, 'what exactly was wrong with the women 

in his household? What do they mean by baby? He is 27 years old not a baby! , he wasn't a baby at all!'. Despite his thoughts, he didn't dare to voice it out at all, he would rather be called baby by this two lords  than be nagged to death. He accepted his new name and he secretly planned to make their highly praised daughter in-law pay, 

'Hhmmph... She will suffer on their behalf' he thought secretly. 

     Little did he know that this so called daughter in-law will be the grand Lord of his family, if only he knew. He smiled politely to everywhere and wanted to walk away but his grandfather stopped him, " Adams accompany me to my study room", he nodded and followed behind his grandfather.

When they got inside, his grandfather sat down and looked at his grandson who was still standing elegantly, he nodded and said plainly " have a sit". 

Adams nodded and sat down elegantly, " what is the matter grandfather? " he asked while keeping a straight face.   

Grandfather Wills was quiet for a while before saying " son, I hope you understand what marriage is? "

Adams stiffened,and  nodded stiffly... to be honest he doesn't understand marriage, to him marriage is  a duty to fulfill. So there was nothing like loving someone and getting married to them, Adams always believes that marriage is about getting married to someone who will run a family with you, as long as they were compatible he was good with it,  just like how he felt about Annabel, because they have grown up together and their families were long term friends and business partners he didn't have a problem settling down with her even though his family didn't like her unruly behavior, well it didn't work out with them though he was a little dissappointed, it didn't matter much to him , that exactly why he didn't bother to question his family when they had chosen Rosy for him, he just accepted the matter as it is, anyways his family didn't approve of Annabel, so it was OK to get married to who they approve of.

He discussed a bit more with his grandfather before leaving the study room and going over to his friends, they greeted  and teased Adams for a while. 

Rohan his best man looked at him and shook his head, "tsk...tsk...tsk... Adams who would have thought you would be the first one to get married amongst us". 

Billy also added on " Yea, he used to be the most calm and composed among us, I would never have expected him to get married so early" they all laughed..

        Adams looked at his childhood friends, Rohan, Billy, James and Michael, they have really been there for him through out their childhood. He glared at Rohan and Billy irritatedly and muttered "noisy", they all laughed at him and he gave a slight smile. As they were chatting, a made came over and bowed slightly...while saying, 

  "young master, your wedding suit is ready and has been sent to your room"

  Adams, looked at what he was wearing a bit awkwardly, he took a deep breath and waved at the maid in dismissal. 

   He got up and went to his room to get changed while Billy accompanied him. 

Soon they were ready to set out to the church, many luxurious cars were parked outside of the Wills mansion. 

  Meanwhile, at the Williams mansion, Rosy was crowded by a lot of people, as they did her makeup while others got her dressed up and tidied her hair, she was so nervous she nearly cried out. 

Rose really didn't know why her parents asked her to return to the country at first,

she was living her youth well in Canada without a care in the world.

Until one morning, her mum called her to come back to the country that her father is in a critical condition, she didn't bother to know the details and immediately booked a flight back home only to find out that it was a set up, these two old people had played her into coming back to get married. 

She was so angry she nearly exploded in fury, 'how can these two people be so cunning, they didn't even mind cursing at their health'...she had thought to herself in disbelief. 

She tried escaping countless times but to no avail, her Dad had to cut off her credit cards and freeze her accounts, she couldn't even leave the country.

She really couldn't believe her parents could do this to her, just to get her to marry some rich heir. She just couldn't believe it and kept throwing a tantrum in the house to get her parents to softened their heart. But the shocking truth was that, they suddenly became deaf to her tantrums. 

She kept making a fuse and finally gave up when she realized that her father who claimed to love her so much and always gave in to her tantrums wasn't buying it this time ,even her mother kept convincing her to marry the Adams guy or whatsoever. 

She finally gave in, and today she was going to marry a man she doesn't know or love, how pathetic. 

Though her parents told her she had met him when she 6years old. Well she doesn't like that person she met then, he was such a cold person, she just doesn't like him!.

While still feeling nervous, she stared at herself in the mirror as all the artist were doing their best to make her look stunning. 

Her best friend, Helen was sitting beside her as she look through her phone on news about Adams, she kept exclaiming in delight at the ground breaking discovery about Adams achievements. 

Because Adams didn't like to be in the public's eye, only a hand full of people have seen how he really looked liked, people said he was so heaven defying with his looks and he was someone who ruled with an iron fist. 

Because Helen was famous online she quickly got hold of Adams picture, she immediately screamed out and jotted Rose who was lost in her thought back to reality. 

Rose looked at her best friend weirdly and couldn't help but ask... 

"hey... What exactly is wrong with you?  Why are you screaming like a crazy fan who saw her Idol?"

Helen turned to face Rose, her face filled with adoration... 

She said excitedly.. 

"oh my God...Rose... Oh my God, you are marrying a handsome God. I'm so envious of you."

Rose couldn't help but look at her friend like she was an i***t. 

" what exactly do you mean?, get straight to the point" she snapped at her friend, 'she was already so nervous and this silly girl isn't helping at all'. She thought helplessly.
