A few days have passed since Derek left. Mrs. Morgan scried a few times a day, but she also needed her magic energy to make potions and other things the pack needs. We had to use her ability sparingly, and often she waited until midday and night to check-in.
It made the day hard to get through, but seeing Derek is still good helps. The last time we checked in, Derek and Clyde planned to burn down another coven, so we knew that Alphie and Derek didn't come to an agreement.
I looked down at Ali, playing with her dolls, and smiled. I'm just happy to have her also to keep me busy.
Melly walked into the living room from her shower and sat down across from Ali, "You ready for a snack?"
"Yes, but can we play outside with Tucker and Lolly?" Ali jumped up as she set her barbie doll down.
