Derek sent Victor back out with Brian and the other guests as we walked towards the house to meet the rest of the Council.
We walked in silence as Derek processed everything Victor said. I wonder if my parents knew about Kyle. They had to have known. Our parents had known each other and been friends since before we were even born.
