Sarah ran straight into the army line. Bullets filled the air around her. Most missed. The ones that hit bounced off or barely penetrated.
The experimental serum had made her skin harder. Tougher. Almost invulnerable.
She reached the first squad of soldiers. Grabbed their weapons. Crushed them. Threw the men aside. Not trying to kill. Just trying to disable.
Francis fought beside her. Faster than the soldiers could track. Taking out communications equipment. Destroying radios. Cutting them off from command.
Diana moved toward the mobile labs. Fire erupted from her hands. A side effect of her Phoenix enhancement. She set the first lab on fire.
Scientists screamed. Ran. Tried to save their equipment.
