56 The two shamans strode off down the path, stepping between the unconscious forms of their compatriots. As they reached the spot where they, Jon and the troopers had made their desperate stand, Rhoda heard someone groaning. She put her hand on Draya’s arm. “Wait. Listen.” She swung the lantern over the sea of bodies, looking for the source of the sound. “Ah.
