“Oh mother of the moon! You scared me Hudson! You shouldn't sneak up on people like that!”
I exclaimed as Hudson's familiar frame hit my vision when I turned.
He had been quick enough to dodge my kick and was laughing so hard at my reaction while bending slightly towards the floor.
I glared daggers at him, and then hissed, making to head inside.
He followed after me muttering, “I am sorry. I am so sorry,” in between laughter.
The fact that he was laughing while muttering sorry infuriated me to no end. I had been so scared thinking it was a rogue or a rogue hunter that had been tailing me… The unpleasant memories from before had further increased my fright. I hadn't even paused to think about the fact that I was in the human territory now.
“Issa… Issa wait up, I am sorry!”
