The kingdom rejoiced over the birth of a princess, Sapphira. The queen had 3 sons and wanted so badly to have a daughter to carry on her Ice legacy. Males didn't carry the power of Ice, only the female child. It had been like this for centries. Mother Superior had almost lost hope after losing her last baby and being told that she may never have another child. On the eve of her birthday, the good king took her away for a romantic get away to brighten her spirits. Upon returns, she felt odd as her power almost tripled. When a few weeks had pasted she knew indeed she was with child, a female child for the signs were undeniable. When Sapphira was born, she had piercing blue eyes and a hue of blue to her skin. She was enchanting like a doll. Being a female was born there kingdom would continuecto strive. She was betroved literally from birth to the high Lord's son Elijah whom was 5. This was to make sure that no tainting to the Ice line occured. To make it all more complicated, Sapphira would be taken to the high hills of Ice country where she would be hidden away until her 16th birthday. At this time she would be married. They did this as a measure of security. Ice powers awoken around 13 years old so she would be trained in edicat and manors. Taught all life skills needed for being a wife and mother, and once the powers awoken then and only then she'd have to train them. When she wed she would be expected to bare children as soon as possible. It was a joyous day only to end in the queens sorrow. She hated this tradition as did her mother and the mother before hger. They wanted the child devoid of any distractions. The Queen only hoped she would learn to love her betroved as she did hers. The woman carried the physical power but the king governed the people, forcing her to comply with the rules.   Sapphira imerged from the carriage excited to finally be free of her prison as she called it. She was finally free to meet people and show she was mature enough to be allowed free time. Once settled into the palace she would attempt asking to be able to go for a walk. Escorted walks bummed her out and made her feel rushed so she begged her mother to allow her a short walk alone. Knowing how her life was in the shelter, the queen granted her a solitaire walk with the promise of staying close by. While walking she notices alot of diplomatic men in town and rushes back to the palace, but not before catching the eye of a most definitely a devilishly handsom man.
