Izzy heaved a sigh of relief as she unlocked her door, Max was in the kitchen.
"What happened? Didn't you see the food Amelia prepared for you?" Izzy asked casually, pulling off her shoes
"How about you? Ain't you gonna eat something before you sleep?"
"Awww! The only food I wanna eat tonight is you"
He smiled as he chopped the onions, "Thank you for saving me today"
She hugged him from behind, inhaling him, "Amelia did, I didn't"
"Amelia?"
She nodded, "She came knocking on my door by 7am, I did not check out your note last night yunno, I was too shocked to do that and I kinda forgot about it but Amelia came and we uh…. argued, fought, consoled ourselves before the delivery guy came. In short, we exhibited the entire plan together"
