Sienna had texted Jake for an update as soon as she got to her car in the courthouse’s parking garage, but he still hadn’t responded by the time she walked into her condo. She had spent the entire ride home chastising herself for acting like a ridiculous, l**t-filled crazy person.
She couldn’t believe she had actually presided over her courtroom while n***d under her robe. It had been an incredibly unprofessional move, not to mention that her only concerns right now should be keeping Jake out of prison and maintaining her judicial post. She was acting like a horny teenager, not a respected court authority.
“That man is making me crazy,” she said to Justice, watching the cat’s green eyes dilate as the animal kneaded her back feet in preparation to attack Sienna’s legs.
