While Jasper was driving, Aria was on her phone. Sheara wasn’t paying attention, focusing on calming down the children instead, before staring out the window. Lost in thought, she didn’t notice Aria giving Jasper instructions, nor that they missed the turn off to the house. As such she was shocked when they stopped at the beach instead. Even more so when Darius stepped out towards the car.
“Aria?”
Turning to her with a HUGE smile, Aria nodded to the door. “Out you get. I told you there’s a few surprises waiting for you. Go on. We’ll see you again a little later.”
Feeling uncertain on what to expect, Sheara slowly stepped out of the car. Closing the door behind her, she looked up into Darius’s golden eyes again, a smile on his face, that quickly faded when his dragon saw the uncertainty
