Walking hand in hand, Darius and Sheara walk down the hallway at the dog shelter, passing by different kennels containing every possible breed and crossbreed of dogs. Sheara's heart ached for the pups that they passed by, but she couldn't stay sad for very long. The children's excitement was tangible. Looking up, she noticed Darius shaking his head.
