Jasmine had seen news about pregnant women deliberately falling and involving themselves in accidents, but that was the first time where she was directly involved.
The pregnant woman fell amidst the heavy rain. She clutched her belly and groaned in pain.
There was still at least a metre’s distance between Jasmine’s car and the pregnant woman. She didn’t hit her. The dashcam was functioning normally as well, hence she was a tad bit relieved and hastily got out of the car.
"Are you okay?" Jasmine held the umbrella as she went forward to help the pregnant woman up.
Drenched, the pregnant woman was clutching onto her belly. She was pale and in pain, “My tummy, it hurts…”
Passerbys gathered as they saw the scene unfold.
