I kissed my teeth, twirling the half-filled beer can in my hand. “I could not believe the audacity myself. She didn’t seem bothered about whatever it was I thought about her. Those eyes are completely different from what I used to know.”
“I will be damned! How did you keep this to yourself for two days without telling me?”
