Chapter 18 The inn was unusually quiet that night. Diana sat by the window, gazing at the moonlight glinting across the stables. She could feel the lingering presence of the Dragon Clan, subtle yet insistent, like a tide brushing against her consciousness. Victoria joined her with two cups of tea. “You’re thinking about them again, aren’t you?” Diana nodded. “I can sense Dylan… and the others. Seraphina, Alaric, Selene… they’re watching. Their power is immense, but the barrier keeps us from connecting fully. It’s… strange and worrying, my mind and spirit feels restless. Victoria handed her a cup. “Better than feeling it fully right now. You’d probably faint from all that energy.” Aaron appeared at the doorway, calm but firm. “Diana… rest tonight. Tomorrow will test more than your skill. Remember to stay focused and calm. The Dragon Clan’s interest… it is not casual. Trust your instincts. I feel worried 💔, I know I have powers and I can use them little by little but I don't know the full depth of it I don't know if I have a beast or beasts within me but I can sense a presence within me giving me strength and I don't know if they're two or three As Diana drifted into restless sleep, dreams of dragons, fire, and golden eyes filled her mind. She caught glimpses of Dylan, Seraphina, Alaric, and Selene, all observing, testing, waiting. Something ancient had begun stirring—and she knew that her life was about to change forever.
