Hours passed since Lacey tried to find a way out. She became mentally exhausted as her mind thought of nothing but negative thoughts. It seemed impossible to escape and she was getting tired of fighting. She tried to ignore her anxiety, but being alone in a dark room made her feel isolated. It was so overwhelming that she started imagining things. She would close her eyes and imagine the good things that happened in her life and for a moment it seemed to work, but when she opened her eyes, her reality was darker than the room she was in.
