Nova P.O.V
Leaving my room with Zeno following closely behind me I begin my search for my dad getting to the bottom of the stairs I call out for him knowing with his super hearing he would most definitely hear me and come to me instead of me having to go hunt him down, which could take God knows how long.
“Dad! I need you.”
Proving me right within seconds my father appears in front of me, his calm exterior could fall anyone, but his eyes gave away his panic as he scans me over as if checking me for injury. Rolling my eyes maybe I shouldn’t have said I needed him it clearly made him think I was hurt.
