I have been running in wolf form with Violet on my back for hours. When we arrived at the docks the place was crawling with mages, and we struggled to fight our way out.
But I was determined to get back to Nova not caring who I had to kill to make sure it happened. We ran pass a small town that is currently under attack causing me to become more on edge just wanting to see my mate and be reassured she is safe.
I come to a sudden stop when Nova’s scent invades my nose this causes Violet to be thrown from my back and crash to the ground in front of me.
She groans in pain before getting to her feet I quickly shift back into my human form before throwing a white, shirt and a pair of black, shorts on and letting my nose guide me to my mate.
“Hey where are you going?” Violet asks
