It's been a few weeks since Miko and I did it...I have started getting morning sickness, I just feel weak. I'm unsure if I'm ill or...Pregnant. Both of them leave me in a terrible position to fight. At this rate I'd have to evacuate...run. But that puts their work to waste and everybody in even more danger. And I'm going to have to fight no matter what. I'm not leaving them. Miko has been with me, he hasn't left me, not even for a second. He's always there. He wants me to stay here while they protect me. Especially if it turns out I'm pregnant.
"So, How are you feeling today Elizabeth?" Miko's soft voice always calmed me down...It made me happy.
"W-Worse" As I said this he pulled me carefully into a hug holding me on his lap.
"It'll all be ok. I promise" Miko held me tighter kissing my forehead gently.
Isuno had also seemed to care a little, he was still cold. Maybe even colder than before. Isuno still hates me. No matter what I do...
Miko doesn't sleep much anymore, he's always keeping an eye on me. Making sure I'm ok and once he knows that he finally gets some rest. I felt somebody kiss me, I snapped out of my thoughts, I was still in Miko's lap. He smiled. "Welcome back" His grin widened as he said this and I hugged him tighter.
"T-Thanks" I smiled weakly.
"So, what were ya thinking about?"
"O-Oh Nothing! Nothing!"
"Oh yeah? Alright, I'll trust you for now...But next time I'll find out" He winked as he said this, I just leant up and kissed him. I was holding onto him as tight as I could hoping this could last forever...We could last forever. I loved him with all my heart.
There was a knock at the door, Mai opened it.
"Hey...Well, have tried to figure out what the issue is...You don't seem ill. It is too early to tell if you're pregnant or not. Good news is it doesn't seem to be too bad, if you aren't pregnant you should be fine within a few weeks".
"O-Ok. Thanks" My voice was shaky and weak.
"When will we know if she's pregnant? What shows she is?" Miko's voice was slightly worried but excited and hopeful.
"Well, She should seem more...Heavy, she'll be weaker."
"I see. And what do we do if Elizabeth is? We can't let her fight or get anywhere near the fight." Miko was sadder now, Holding me tighter.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there...For now, let's worry about keeping her safe and healthy" She seemed unsure this time. As if she has little to no hope in anything she was saying...As if she was worried.
Night came quicker than expected, I could hear a fight outside our room...It sounded like Mai and Isuno. Miko held me closer and started petting me again.
"It's ok just ignore it ok? They'll stop soon. I'll go out and check if needed." He kissed me after saying this and I kissed back nodding.
"O-Ok..." They didn't I was worried and almost scared. I had no clue as to what they were arguing about or why.
Miko went to check it out a while later, leaving me alone and unprotected. I heard the window open but saw nothing...no one. Something grabbed me and dragged me out of the window and into the woods. After a while, everything was shrouded in black. I awoke, tied to a tree deep in the woods, I tried desperately to struggle yet my efforts were futile. I wasn't getting out of this using force...unless, I could try my wings! It was again, pointless. What they had bound me up in seemed to be some kind of chain, it almost felt as if it were burning me when I tried to struggle and escape. I heard the leaves crackle as something or, someone approached me. There was a moment of silence before I heard, a short male laugh.
"They haven't even noticed. All your little friends are still arguing. It's sad, they still don't care." He sounded just like the kids at school did.
"T-That's not true!" I was desperately trying to tell myself that they did care but...then again, they would have noticed if they did.
He smiled as he took a blade out and held it against my cheek.
"So, what will I do with you first hm?" I stayed silent as he said this, he started applying pressure to my cheek, drawing a little blood. I tried to teleport and managed to get a little bit away, I heard him laugh as I felt a sharp pain in my leg. I turned and saw a dagger in my leg, pinning me to the floor.
"You're not going anywhere," At that same moment I was pulled into Miko's arms, he held me close as the rest of the group arrived. Even Isuno was there, he didn't seem too bothered and as if he were forced to come. The guy ran, intimidated by one of them or even all of them. Miko carried me back to the home, the others followed protecting me almost.
We arrived back at the house, Miko lay me down onto his bed. He cleaned the wound and sutured it together. It didn't seem to hurt too much but, Miko was still worried about hurting me despite how many times I told him I was ok. After he was done, I huddled up to him and fell asleep. I could feel him holding onto me, even though I was still in a deep slumber.
A few months had passed now, nothing had really happened except for the fact we knew I was pregnant. This meant not only was I incapable of fighting but that I'd give birth or be close to giving birth when the fight started. Miko was going to stay with me while the others fought against my father. I felt uncomfortable with the fact that they would be losing and risking their lives for me... I wanted to fight with them but the condition I was in, I'd end up destroying myself before my father did. There was no feasible way I could help them...
