Lilly called us all in for a meeting as soon as they returned from their patrol and my blood was boiling as I waited for her report. I knew something was up since they had already told us there was no reason to continue patrols. Aaron stood to her left, Alexander quietly to the right with Ian knelt beside his mate. I could tell that I was growling before I heard it based on the fact that Ian was hiding his face in his mate’s fur and Alexander was shaking slightly.
“What do you mean the Outcasts simply retreated!" I know it should be a good thing that they were gone but it wasn't. The fact that they walked up to our boarder, stopped, and then left the way they came showed that these were no ordinary Outcasts just like we had feared.
