“Thank you.” I whispered softly pulling away from Aaron. These hormonal mood swings were getting annoying! Why did I want to be comforted by a man that I should want to castrate right now. I couldn't help it that being in his arms made me feel whole. He calmed the fire in my soul.
“Of course.” Aaron nodded kissing the top of my head like he had done when we were younger. “Have you thought about finding Carlos?” Frowning, I pulled away from him confused about why he suddenly brought up my lost pack member. “You are his Luna, and you never felt a pack link break for him… which means he is probably still alive and connected to you.”
I remembered all of the torture I had endured when I entered the Dark Side pack and shook my head “maybe I just didn’t notice it snap?”
