Smiling softly, I gazed at my mate and children... Holy s**t, I have a mate and twins! If that isn't a massive change in a short amount of time, then I don't know what is. Carlos lifted Avery up, cradling her while Allison tried to jump from a table onto his back. I laughed as Carlos dodged Allison, catching her just before she hit the floor. Allison was instantly in a fit of giggles as Carlos swung her slowly like a superhero.
I walked up and held out my arms to Avery, who beamed, jumping out of Carlos's arms into mine. "Daddy! Daddy Carlos is paying more attention to Allison."
"I am not! I was cuddling you!" Carlos huffed, setting Allison on the ground. This, of course, resulted in Allison whining about wanting back up.
"Yeah but you were playing hero with her!" Avery huffed
