Watching Jason and Ash together reminded me of the night I let Jason be with Eric and I never thought I would see him as soft as I did in this moment. Jason was a true Alpha wolf, stern and rigid but when in the presence of the one who called out to his soul, he became a teddy bear. Jason was the type of wolf that would go hungry to make sure that his other half ate. The way Ash whimpered in quiet despair made Jason wrap his body around the other protecting Ash from all the troubles of the world. Every once in a while, I looked away from them to look over at Chase and I saw that she was thinking exactly what I was. Unlike Jason, Ash never had a chance to create a bond with another wolf. So the fact that this situation was so complicated had to be hurting him and I could tell that
