“I have to tell her.” Julian announces as he comes into my study the next morning.
“You can’t.” I insist. I don’t have to ask what he’s talking about.
“I have to. She deserves to know.” Julian insists. There is no doubt that Lily deserves to know, but that’s not what matters right now. What matters is what is good for her and after yesterday, I don’t think her boyfriend telling her he’s a werewolf is what she needs right now.
“She was just attacked by a wolf yesterday.” I reason with him. “You saw her. She was terrified. She probably still is. Telling her what you are will only serve to scare her more.”
