“You’re leaving?”Raphael’s voice booms loudly, as he slams his fist on the wooden table of hisfather’s office. The alpha is on an important meeting, as he told me. We met atdinner the other night, and then he had to leave, and so with the Luna.
I compose myself,not wanting to argue with Raphael at the moment. Szari tightens his grip on myhand, and I send him a small smile. I look back at Ralph who’s looking at me indesperation to not leave. “Yes, and I’m taking Emmy and Garry with me,” Ianswer him, using the nickname he has for Garnet.
“You can’t!” Hehisses, trying to control himself.
“I will do it,Raphael… before the full moon strikes. We have to leave,” I say calmly.
“I won’t let yougo, Scarlet.”
I huff, and then Iturn to Raphael.
