When I wake up again, I'm in a hospital bed and my wounds have been taken care of. At the rate that I'm waking up in the hospital, it's going to make me hate hospitals. My body feels numb and even though I hate being in a numb state, I'd prefer it over the pain that I was going through before. It felt like my whole body was on fire. "My darling." I hear the voice of an elderly woman and I can't help but smile. She is here. She walks close to my bed and I can see the tears in her eyes, no doubt she has been crying. "Grandma?" I call in a faint voice. "Hey sweetheart?" She says and moves her palm over my forehead before she leans in and gives me a kiss on the forehead. She has on her signature African Ankara head tie and her Ankara dress. She doesn't look like she's aged even a sing
