We went to the cabin after the war ended, giving time for the castle to be rebuilt after Kayden Transformed inside it, severely damaging the structure. The cabin is nice and all but I miss having the space to move around and walk the halls. It has been almost a week and I’m going stir crazy. Rose has been amazing for us so far, she hardly cries. She is so attentive, always watching us with her big eyes.
I finish feeding her and burp her before putting her down for a nap. I close the door gently behind me as I head to the kitchen to make some tea. There’s a knock on the door, I wasn’t expecting anyone today. Theodora and Tyler visited yesterday and they are the only ones allowed to come by right now. Kayden is out to help rebuild and won’t be home for a few more hours.
