Chapter 5Ten days passed after I left Boma Village for a second time. We had thirty-two days left in Adrian before we moved onto the next city in our journey. The Copperwiths had been allowed to teach on the marperia, but Eduardo Azur’s hatred of Omari and the Boma-Men was still fresh my mind, as well as the Copperwiths’. Eduardo accused the Boma-Men of eating human flesh. I knew that was not true from spending time at Boma Village twice. Micah made it clear that Boma-Men only ate fruits and vegetables, not meat of any kind. I expressed that viewpoint to Eduardo and he insisted those people were cannibals.
