Erandri POV
I stare at the alpha wondering how he could have the audacity to reject Sam as his mate. The moment I heard him shouting her name I felt all control leave my body. He wasn’t even that good looking and I knew if Eli didn’t come drag me off of him he would be dead right now. The son of a b***h!
I’m about to scream at Eli, but I’m surprised when Eli punches the Alpha instead. I stand there gawking for a moment as the Alpha is knocked out cold. Eli gives me a pointed look and I then remember the way Sam blushed when we talked about him. Oh. That’s why he punched him.
I feel the eyes around us and feel a little deflated as I feel some of the energy leaving my body. I was exhausted.
