Charlotte POV
Gideon kissed me.
It was probably the best moment of my entire life and as I look at Jayc I’m ready to rip his head off.
His eyes widen when he takes in my face and I don’t understand it until the other vampires gawk at me.
“Princess Charlotte?” Jayc says as he takes another step towards us with his three men standing right behind him. I try to reshape my features, but nothing is working. Jayc starts to laugh and throws his head back. We all just watch him and he acts like he is wiping away a tear, because he finds this so amusing. His red hair is in a long braid that he throws over his shoulder.
“I knew there was something different about you, but this… this is wonderful!” he says and then claps his hands together. He looks over his shoulder at his men.
