I'm running and the moon has turned into a strane shade of orange. My legs won’t stop. I’m in my human vorm and my wings are spread out wide making the wind dance against their sensitive skin. I feel something in my hand and it feels like a miracle when I finally can move my head to see what was in it.
I scream.
I scream in a way that deathens everything around me. His hair. His eyes. Gideon.
