Chapter 14

1044 Words
Rina The things that I threw around are scattered inside my room. Even broken bottles of alcohol are scattered on the floor. I can't accept that Evon and Raina are married now. I should be Evo's wife now, not that woman. "Enough, Rina. There's nothing we can do. Raina and Evo are already married, so just accept this truth," my mom pleaded with me. My mom didn't attend Raina and Evo's wedding. Unlike Dad, he still attended even though I told him not to go. My father said he needed to attend because Evo wouldn't buy the land he was selling if he wasn't at the wedding ceremony. Evo just didn't want Raina to be embarrassed if no family members attended her wedding. That's what I wanted to happen, but it didn't happen. I want to embarrass Raina in front of their guests. I want the guests to think that the reason no family members attended Raina's wedding is because they are ashamed. They are ashamed because she took away the man who was supposed to marry her younger sister. That she was a shameless woman. But Raina was not embarrassed because Evo threatened my Dad using that piece of s**t of land. I really hate my half-sister! "What do I lack that Raina has, Mom? Why did Evo choose her over me?" I asked my mother while crying. But it wasn't my heart that was more hurt, it was my pride. I really want to surpass Raina in everything. That would have happened if I had married Evo. But she even took that away from me. My hatred for her reaches the heavens. I will not allow her to be happy with Evo. "Nothing, Rina. Everything a man desires is in you. The only reason Evo chose to marry her instead of you is because she's pregnant with his child. If you were the one he impregnated, I'm sure he would choose you," Mom convinced me. I am thankful that my Mom was always there for me. She always supported me no matter what I did. Whether it was bad or good. "I've done everything, Mom. I've done everything to stop their wedding but nothing happened. It still went on." I picked up the glass of wine on my bed and finished its contents. "Stop it, Rina. I'm sure you can find a man who is richer and more handsome than Evo. He's not the only billionaire in our country." I shook my head firmly. "No, Mom. If I look for someone else, it's like admitting that Raina defeated me. But even if they're already married, I'll still find a way to separate them and re-enter Evo's life. Because he is only mine!" "Fine. I will support you whatever your plan is. But for now, stop drinking, and let's have your room cleaned. You might get hurt by the broken bottles scattered inside your room." I smiled at my mother when I heard what she said. "I knew it, Mom. You will always support me. You'll help me separate Evo and Raina, right?" "Of course, I will. I will do anything to make you happy, my daughter. But please, stop drinking and fix yourself," Mommy pleaded with me again. "I approached Evo's mother and badmouthed Raina to her. I thought she could stop her son's wedding but apparently not. That old woman is useless," I said to my mother with clenched fists. "So I don't need her help anymore. You and I will work together to separate Evo and Raina." "What is happening here? Why are there broken bottles of alcohol scattered on the floor? And the whole room smells like alcohol!" My father suddenly appeared at the door and his face immediately crumpled upon seeing my room. "It's because of Raina, Dad. I can't accept that she and Evo are married! You just let her take Evo away from me," I angrily said to my father. "Damn it, Rina! Their wedding was yesterday but you're still drinking and getting drunk until now!" he angrily replied to me. "It's your fault why your fiancé ended up with your sister. You're too slow to move. If only you had insisted on something happening between the two of you, you could have pretended to be pregnant too so he wouldn't back out of your wedding!" "Enough, Reynold! Your daughter is already crying and sad, yet you're scolding her. Don't blame her but that flirtatious daughter of yours!" Mommy snapped at Daddy. She really doesn't like it when Daddy yells at me, especially if it's because of Raina. "She's a fiancé stealer, so she won't be happy with her husband." "I couldn't do anything because Evo has me by the neck. I need his help to pay off our debts. And that land is the only thing that can save us," Dad explained, although Mommy and I already knew that. "You're beautiful and still young, Rina. "I am certain that many wealthy bachelors will like you." "But I only want Evo, Dad. I only want him to be my husband and no one else," I insisted to him. Daddy held his temple, shook his head, and then left my room. I clenched my fist tightly. I will wait for the opportunity to ruin Raina in Evo's eyes. I must be patient in waiting if I want to succeed in what I plan to do. Days passed, and I continued to wait for an opportunity to ruin Raina. Until that moment, I had been waiting for it to arrive. I heard that Raina wanted to secure the project for interior design in the newly constructed building of someone who owes me a favor. I immediately contacted that person and told him what I wanted to happen. After talking to Mr. Wang, a smile appeared on my lips. If what I want to happen succeeds, not only will Raina's name be ruined, but she will also lose the baby she is carrying. Evo will surely blame her. He will surely divorce her. Don't blame me for doing this Raina. You're at fault, not me. The baby in your womb wouldn't be lost if you hadn't agreed to marry Evo. So say goodbye to your baby, my dear half-sister.
