Berserk

- * “Too slow!” laughs Dragunov, appearing behind Danae to strike her down. Then swiftly, she turns around to punch his side. Up and away in the far distance, he lands tumbling and destroying the ground. He recovers in no time, surprised by her sudden burst of speed. The water is covering her whole body. They look nothing like normal water because they are glowing blue. As if it is armor with angelic wings behind the back. “Interesting,” he grins. “Now, we have a fight!” They charge head-on sending barrages of strikes at each other. Danae is using their technique of using palm strikes rather than knuckles. This puts her at an advantage in speed. She has at least hit him a few hundred times but he is very sturdy and tough. He has not yet landed a single punch. Her trident has a mind of its own. It strikes him if ever it sees an opening, limiting his focus on Danae's light-speed strikes. It goes on to the point where she sends her down to the ground, creating a large explosion that can be felt at large distances. Even some of the debris is flung high up over the clouds. Danae did not stop there. She prepares for another attack while falling. “Ocean Legend:” Her whole body glows in blue. “Sailfish of Atlantis!!” A giant sailfish made out of water forms in the sky. Dragunov just started to get up as fast as he can. The sailfish is large but it is very quick charging downward, seeking to impale him with its long upper jaw shaped like a sword. Even at his maximum speed, he cannot outrun it. He tries to stop suddenly and in the opposite direction to avoid the long sword. It is to no use and it is his grave mistake. Another large explosion occurs in the place. This time, tons of muddy water are hurled in every direction. The tremor is felt by the people of Asgard and Olympus while at the moment, being attacked by waves of enemies. * - I've been walking with the helpless people for quite a time now. Where we are headed, I don't know. Waves of masked men are attacking us every minute. Mila and the others repel them with ease but I'm wondering where are the deities of the enemy. Heron might be concealing them but I could find them if they want to. I won't because I'm too tired. I'm even barely standing on my feet and walking very slow. I must conserve it if I want to survive. But if I won't, it's okay. What happens to me is what happens. The tremor of the fight of Dragunov and Lady Danae is reaching here. I look back and see shockwaves bending the air. She is very fast like Lady Aurelia and Eleanna. She's not an Olympian for nothing. It seems that she has the upper hand. “Watch out!!” cries someone. I turn around and see a large boulder coming to crash down on us. Hyeon shoots it. It explodes into pieces. Mila avoids anyone being killed by putting clouds over us. For a short moment, she looks at me from above, asking for my help although not saying a word. It is clear in her eyes. I can't help. I'll just be a drag if I help. They'll have to save me if I realize I can't do it. It will trouble them even more. Doesn't she realize that? That single boulder is not the end of it. About thirty boulders are incoming. Hyeon is busy shooting the masked men. Lady Aurelia and Eleanna are completely exhausted that they don't even use their unparalleled speeds. Nobody has the time to pray. Should I help? The pieces of the destroyed boulders are raining down on us. Mila's power is not enough to create a large enough cloud to protect everyone. There's nothing I could do. They fall, killing humans. Elderly, women, children, and men die. I didn't take a single step and I was lucky none of the debris fall on me. If it did, I will survive but I'm going to be badly injured. Strangely, I'm able to think rationally while my body is very weak. Normally, I couldn't but this time is different. Lord Santos is very exhausted. He cannot heal anyone anymore, let alone walk on his own. Dyami is also exhausted. I heard he recently was able to heal minor injuries. By the looks of it, he is good as useless. Darius is getting uncontrollable. He has used his power a lot of times. He is barely holding on with his rational mind. They have to let him rest or he will be a great problem. “Lady Mila!” I call her. She notices me from above. “Let Darius rest.” She nods and goes to tell him. It's too late. He has gone mad. Can they stop him? He's in his peak of ridiculous strength when he is in this state, they can't beat him. I know how to beat him but that's if I have the energy. He is starting to attack Shui. Run, Shui... if you don't wanna die. He cannot run though, Darius is fast. Others help in restraining him but he's too strong and they're becoming weaker by the second. Eleanna comes to take him out before he could use his Cessation. They fall to the ground somewhere far from me. I don't know what's going on but if it's her dealing with him, everything's fine. The last wave of attack is finished. I think this is the quiet before the chaos. I'm right. Five deities surround us, their powers are unknown. Three goddesses and two gods. I can't see them because of the terrain and the- “Argh!!!” screams Lord Santos, stabbed in the chest by a demigod who we thought is one of us. He's a traitor all along. Others stab other deities that have healing powers. Our allies fight them off. Mila is so frustrated. Where's Dyami? Oh, Ruby is with him. He's the last healer. Even human doctors and nurses are killed. This is a war crime but it doesn't mean anything for these vile men. I wonder if all of us can make it. The five enemy deities are closing in. They are fresh and full of strength, unlike ours. The Seaters of Olympus Mons are ordered to retreat. The fauna deities take over their duties to protect. Their strength might not be enough. Although I can't see, I can at least sense their presence die off as soon as the enemy deities charge. They're dropping like flies. I hear cries of grief and pain. Lord Santos just passed away. Betrayed by the people he trusts with his life is hard to take. My ears are getting numb trying to take in the noise and let them go. The five enemy deities are closing in. Then I just realized Mila is shaking my shoulders. She's in front of me, saying something I can't make out. She's probably asking for help. Her tears are flowing from her eyes. And their splashes on the muddy frozen ground is all I could hear. I just remembered something. I'm someone who fights until I drop on the ground. How did I forget that? It's strange and funny. I put my hand on her head, patting it like I used to do with Hera. “Demigod Mode,” I utter before letting go of her head. My body feels a little lighter but I need to finish those deities fast before I fall unconscious. And when I do, I must make sure I don't lose control like what I did. The goddess that I think her power is controlling threads is the nearest to me. Through the spread out and panicking people I run as fast as I can. She cannot sense me as she cuts the head of the people using the threads. I'm near enough to do something now. With my right hand, I use “Gravitational Pull.” she has no time to dodge but uses her threads to make a wall. I can go through that. “Fist of Four.” Even though my punch didn't go through, the gravitational wave goes through it. Then I jump over the wall. She's hurt. Her threads are like needles that will impale me in midair above her. Then using the first technique I ever used with my power, “Boom.” I repel them easily. She tries to run away. She can't when she is within the grasp of my power. To finish her, “Fist of Five: Lion's Paw.” I hit her head, her spine crunches. As soon as I land, I go on to take out another goddess. This time, she's a fauna-type. She's half-octopus, crushing people with her large slimy tentacles. Her size is like a bus. She notices me in the air charging at her. She sends three of her tentacles after me. They're fast but predictable. After dodging them, she is so vulnerable up close. Her crossed arms get squished by my fist but she's not hurt. Just as she leans back after taking the blow, I grab her slimy neck to choke her. Her whole body is elastic including her neck. I can't choke her. The tentacles are going after me. Instead of holding the choke, I let go, squeeze her throat like a marshmallow and tear it apart. Her blood burst out. Some of it went to my face. Her tentacles wiggle, feeling the pain she's feeling. The demigods can finish him now. To another deity, I go. This time, I'm noticed from far away. He stops killing people to focus his attention on me. His actions tell me that he's scared. I'm covered in blood after all. His power seems to be controlling needles. “You killed her!!” he cries. Who? I don't know which. The needles whistle in the air. It's easy to stop them with my magnetic force. I make them gather into a ball and he can't do anything about it. He's a man but not trained for hand-to-hand combat. It's obvious the way he panics into just showing me his palms and closing his eyes, leaving him open in every way. “Hand of Five:” Pretending that my open palm is a sword, I lunge it deep into his chest. “Heart Crusher.” I squeeze his heart inside, crushing it. I push him away and my left hand is full of warm blood. I almost stumble back like a drunk guy. I look at the people around me. They're scared of me. I gulp, look away from them, and proceed to take out the last two deities. A goddess and a god come to take me out together. But can they? The goddess is flora-type with her ability to control venus flytraps and the god is also a flora-type, controlling thorny vines. Together, they combine their powers to kill me in a single blow. Thousands of large thorny venus flytraps are coming to devour me. We're up in the sky so I think it is safe to use it. “Fist of Eight: Gravitational Rupture.” The flytraps get ripped into pieces. It was from their hands that they summoned come from so they weren't able to move. So, they get caught up in it. Their insides get mixed up. Their veins, intestines, and bones rupture. Their bones break and they fall like ragdolls on the ground. The large pieces of thorns are going falling onto the people below. With my remaining strength, I spin to create a shockwave to sweep them away. Then they fall far from them. At this distance and this altitude, I can see how the fight of Lady Danae and Dragunov is going on. They created thousands of craters. Even the shelter where we came from is destroyed and a part of the mountainside is flattened. She's losing.
